Waynesboro Police Department Awarded Seat Belt Grant

The Department of Pubic Safety & Planning awarded the Waynesboro Police Department a $20,000 seat belt grant. This grant will run April 1, 2007 thru September 1, 2007. As of May 29, 2007, over 200 tickets have been issued in the city of Waynesboro for seat belt violations and child restraint tickets.
