Juvenile Arrested in Kelly Oil Co. Burglary

According to Chief Frost, on 5-12-09 Officers responded to an alarm call at Kelly Oil.
Upon arrival, Lt. Randy Pettus and Officer Wesley Waites discovered that the window to the front door was broken out. Further investigation revealed drops of blood on the ground outside the door and on the floor just inside the door. A short piece of metal was found laying inside the door approximately 10 to 15 feet from the front door. At 2147 hours, the owner ,Terry Kelly, arrived. After an inspection of the business by Terry Kelly, there were no items to be reported missing. Officers were then advised of a juvenile male subject at Wayne General Emergency Room with lacerations to his arm. Lt. Pettus and Officer Chambers left Kelly Oil and went to Wayne General. Lt. Pettus transported one juvenile black male to the Waynesboro Police Department and notified Officer Everett who is conducting the investigation into this incident.
