Robbery at Bonner Drug Store

On July 1, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. 911 Central dispatch received a call that Bonner Drug Store had been robbed. Mrs. Bonner stated to dispatch that the male subject left the scene driving their truck a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado, silver in color.

Mrs. Bonner advised that the subject was traveling East on 184. Inv. Mark West was approximately 1 mile from Bonner Drug Store on 184 West bound. West never made contact with the vehicle before arriving at the store. West went into the store and spoke with Jerry Bonner (Pharmacist). Bonner stated that a white male appeared to be in his 40's app. 5'10'' tall weighing app 225 lbs. very clean cut and freshly shaved facial area entered the store armed with a small handgun that appeared to be a .39 revolver Puerter gray in color. Bonner stated that the subject was wearing blue jeans, black and white shirt. Bonner stated that the subject approached the pharmacy counter and stated that he wanted schedule two drugs. The subject demanded the keys to Bonner's vehicle and stated that he had no intentions of keeping the vehicle, he would park it where it could be found. Mark west and Lt. Randy Pettus began searching the nearby area looking for the vehicle about an hour later Deputy Sheriff Johnson located the vehicle parked in the Wal- Mart parking lot approximately half a mile East of the drug store.
