WPD Investigates Auto Grand Larceny

According to Chief Leonard Frost, on March 4, 2007, Investigator Mark West
was dispatched to W.C. Pitts Construction located at 145 Azalea Drive. Investigator West spoke with Owner Billy Pitts which stated that someone entered the property of W.C. Pitts Construction and stole a 2001 Ford F-150 red in color. The vehicle was taken without authority and was driven through a locked gate causing heavy body damage to the vehicle. Investigator West received a call that the vehicle had been located on Chickasawhay Street. Investigator West stopped the vehicle and identified the driver as Ernest Dewayne Bunch. Bunch was arrested and is currently being held in the Waynesboro County Adult Detention Center.
