WPD Investigates Armed Robbery

According to Chief Leonard Frost, on April 2, 2007, officers were dispatched
to 913 Mississippi Drive for a armed robbery call. Upon arrival, officers spoke with William Jones, Assistant Manger of McDonalds, which stated that he was at Bankplus drive-thru when a black male ran up to the passenger side window demanding the money. Jones stated that the black male pointed a shiny black pistol and another black male snatched the money bags, the store keys and fled on foot.
