WPD Takes Part in Mock Drill

The Waynesboro Police Department and other local emergency response

agencies responded to a mock hostage situation at the Wayne County Vo-Tech center on May 31, 2007. The Waynesboro Police Department, The Wayne County Sheriff's Department, The Wayneboro Fire Department, Wayne General Hospital, Homeland Security, and the Wayne County School District all participated in the drill. The drill was to help refine our techniques and skills, so if the time ever comes when is it not a drill, we will be ready.
