Armed Robbery at First State Bank Mini-Bank

According to Chief Leonard Frost, on July 9, 2007, officers responded to an
armed robbery call at the First State Bank Mini-Bank on Robinson Street. Lt. Randy Pettus arrived on scene and spoke to the victim Steven Crowe. Steven Crowe, manager at Western Sizzlin, stated to WPD officers that two black males robbed him at gun point while he was trying to make the night deposit. An undisclosed amount of money was taken and the suspects fled on foot. Anyone that may have information related to this incident is asked to call the Waynesboro Police Department at 601-735-3192.
