Fugitive from Texas Arrested by WPD

According to Chief Leonard Frost, on August 13, 2007, Christopher Lewis,
age 28, of 2780 CR 21, Silas, AL was apprehended by officers of the WPD after a vehicular and foot pursuit. Lewis was wanted by Texas officials for Grand Larceny. WPD filed felony evading/fleeing from an officer charges. Lewis is currently being held in the Wayne County Jail pending extradition to Texas.
