Stolen Vehicle From Cooley Motors

According to Chief Frost, Nelson Toomey DBA Cooley Motor Co., Reported to the police that someone had driven a white chevy truck from the parking lot ah Cooley's and parked it at the Budget Inn. Asst. Chief Bunch, Nelson, and Mr. Cooley went to the Budget Inn and recovered the truck.
Upon answering a call fron Cooley Motor Co. and recovering a truck at the Budget Inn, Ass.Chief Bunch observered a red Ford Ranger in the ditch on Glitter Lane next to the side drive of Brazil's Transmission Shop and an older model coppper colored Ford Ranger parked at the gate to the BellSouth yard. Bunch spoke with Mr. Brazil and he stated that somone tried to steal both vehichles during the night, and that the red one was owned by Deas Cars Lot. This one was struck in the ditch and had the passenger side door lock removed and the steering column torn loose. The other vehicle was brought to Brazil's to be worked on and that the clutch was burned up. Several tools were found on the seat of the older Ford Ranger along with a set of vise grip pliers on the ground and the remenants of the door lock.
