Shooting On Wayne St.

According to Chief Frost, officers responded to a report of a subject shot at 221 Wayne St.
Upon arrival Officers Harris, Bunch and Pursell observed Harvey James Marshall standind in the yard. Marshall stated that he had been shot in the back by a black male with a .380 cal handgun. WGH-ER transported Marshall to WGH for treatment. Sgt. Harris took photoghraphs of the crime scene and empty hulls on the ground which were recovered as evidence. There was also a hole in the siding of the residence which appeared to be a entrance point for a bullet. Photographs were also made of the footprints in the mud on the East side of 221 Wayne Street. At approxmatley 1345 hours, a suspect allgedley involved in the shooting came to pd and was detained on hold for investigation
