Deborah Boyles,arrested and charged with aggravated assault

According to Chief Frost, Sgt. Chris Harris was dispatched to family disturbance at 806 Wayne St.

On Friday, April 11,2008, officers were dispatched to family disturbance with weapons involved. Sgt. Harris was the first to respond and discovered that Debrorah Boyles had shot her brother ,Tim Fowler. Harris recovered the weapon from Boyles and placed Boyles under arrest. Investigator Mark West arrived on the scene, went into the residence with medical personel. West saw Tim Fowler standing in the living room of the residence with what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the arm. Fowler stated that Boyles had shot him and that they, Boyles and Fowler, had been arguing for a long period of time. Fowler was then transported to Wayne General, and Boyles was transported to the Wayne County jail. Deborah Boyles was charged with aggravated assault and bond was set at 50,000.00. Boyles was bound over to await the action of the Wayne County grand jury.
